We're in possession of a new office phone number for Straight Talk Public Relations, generated courtesy of Skype.
In picking a number, Skype presented me with many choices. I decided to try variations of my children's birthdays. They were born on the 2nd and the 26th of the month. Skype reported it had a phone number available for Cambridge with the last four numbers being "0226." That was perfect. Easy to remember for you. Even easier for me.
Could it get better? Yes! The exchange Skype offered to put in front of this quartet of numbers was "500." My children were each born in Indianapolis, home of the 500-Mile Race, better known as the "Indy 500." What a great exchange for a phone number that includes their birthdays!
The area code, (617), of course pinpoints my current whereabouts in Boston/Cambridge.
